Our team includes Ben Bacon, holder of two national awards for his previous clinic plus he ran Wales’ largest and longest established Chiropractic rehabilitation clinic attached to his Chiropractic centre in Newport. Dr Ben and his team established working practices with Gwent Police and Torphaen County Council Return to Work policies. Dr Ben created a train schools back care program covering the cost of his trainers and bespoke back care program in a specially created outreach program; with the deal that the school sports teachers themselves had to train and pass as ‘back fit’ before they in turn taught the school pupils. A number of secondary schools signed up, including Newport High School. Dr Ben inaugurated a national award for primary schools, backed by the British Chiropractic Association to have participating schools awarded yearly for their involvement in his back care programs. Dr Ben and his team went to many companies and lectured for the Health and Safety Executive across South Wales as well as delivering back care and exercise programs. 

Dr Ben recently worked for a couple of years in research and development; creating and advising on wellbeing products for health technology markets. 

Ben comes to Swansea with a wealth of experience yet one of his most frequent saying is ‘I am still in practice every day I learn from my clients’. 

Ben began working as a Chiropractor in Bristol, 1993 followed by extensive experience in Sydney, Australia. He returned to the UK and established an award winning centre in Newport, South Wales. He has relocated to Swansea and building a new team at Newbury Pharmacy, Mumbles, West Cross and Swansea Wellbeing Centre. Ben is currently practising as a Back Specialist during Covid times, through these local walk-in centres and home visits.  

Ben Bacon started his career in Chiropractic by achieving top of year for neuro-anatomy classes with exam marks of 98% in college, to many years of being a member of the Faculty of Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Orthopaedics. This advancing of his knowledge allowed him to help many people across many cases of back pain, sciatica, whiplash injuries, orthopaedic injuries, simple and complex rehabilitation needs and pre and post operative recuperative care needs. 

Ben built up Wales’ largest Chiropractic rehabilitation centre, re-training level 4 REPS trainers to run the program alongside of his thriving team practice in Newport, Gwent. They also ran the primary school community program for exercise back angels. Ben then expanded results by creating a new course and having the British Chiropractic Association certify this, the only course in the country to deliver a special shortened version of his adult course for delivery to secondary schools. With the proviso that the sports teachers delivering it had to pass it too and show they knew how to build a strong and healthy back!

Ben Bacon combines his 20+ years of experience as Chiropractor with pioneering and highly effective energy healing techniques to produce a unique offering for a range of issues extending beyond his base skills of Chiropractic management; including chronic neck, shoulder and back pain, whiplash, disc injuries, frozen shoulder, severe tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, severe achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and swollen arthritic joints.
